Guys please believe me this was Shaka all the time ,, it’s been a while since he mashed up the dance but I seen him all over this nation playing like this a yes thank god that I been here the same time as this man ,,can’t you see he has a touch of god in him ,that’s why he’s perfect at what he does ,,and he done this through many years of dance hall,,I used to look at my younger generation thinking they must think I’m Shaka crazy but today we are all in the ghetto Shaka done this ,he gained a following over years of people talking about Shaka sessions ,you must see a learn that the message is powerful and love and peace and education,,,love people bless

Those old Island stems you used to be able to download had about 24 tracks in them. Each with some instrument playing on it.

The quality of the music declined markedly. This is because of 2 underlying misconceptions: 1) that it was seen as a message rather than simply great music; 2) that it was the product of technician/specialist rather than technician/specialist taking an off-kilter but sincere voice from the street and making a song out of it. People left because the sounds being churned out were below par. Oh Macarena does not belong in dub music. A reggae song should have more than 2 chords. There should be lots of instruments and modulation. THEN make the dub.
